Echevarria puts
a tremendous amount of pressure on the paint and works off the bounce – very solid
is pick and roll and two man game basketball; does have still have some
questions about the consistency of the jumper shot. Yet let’s be clear he makes shots; and he does
knock it down from deep. At this point
he is more scorer than shooter and with his style of play being able to space the
court put his game on an elite level due to his penetration, finishing, and
passing vision.
If any of
you have seen Cole Anthony in his middle school days; there are a lot of similarities
n STYLE of play- that fact they play for the same program leads me to believe there
is some design to this; and Anthony has continued and ongoing success since
entering the High School ranks. As with
most 7th graders there is room to improve his body, jumper, and shot
selection, as he serves as a do-it-all lead guard for the PSA Cardinals, and he
has a chance to continue that versatility at the major to high major level down
the road if he continues to develop.
