Okay Djamgouz another High Level Canadian Product

Canada has continued to produce high level players that are making impacts both nationally and internationally – Rowan Barrett, Joel Brown, Andrew Nemhard immediately come to mind from recent classes.

The trend has continued and our analysis of Canadian Okay Djamgouz has been nothing short of impressive.  Exploding onto the scene at the recent UA Next Combine Series Djamgouz has a long resume of success.  Currently he plans to attend school in Canada for his freshman year and make a determination if the states can provide him a better path to his final destination which we can all agree whether state or province will ultimately lead to the division I level.

For those that haven’t seen Djamgouz prior; he is a true shooting guard with a terrific offensive feel and knack for scoring. He gets to the rim on the break and on straight line drives in the half-court set where he is a crafty finisher. The primary weapon in his arsenal is his highly proficient shooting; he has a smooth mid-range pull up jumper, he also can knock down the three off the catch and on the move. Okay also does a good job of seeing the floor when he helps at the point. He is a high major shooting guard with great upside including the ability to help at the point in the future with the right development.

Watch Okay Djamgouz’s recent performance in Washington, DC as he lit it up and put on display the skills that will have him in the conversation for the next four years as one of the top players in the class of 2020.
