NYBL All-Stars vs. USA National Select: The Game of the Millennium

The NYBL All-Star weekend is one of the most exciting portions of the NYBL Season.  Taking place this year in conjunction with the famous Buckeye Prep Showcase; this year’s event will be one of its most exciting ever.

The best national youth league in the country led by The God Father of Youth Basketball Rob Taylor possessed without question the best stable of players and teams in the nation.  This was clearly proven at both league levels as the class of 2020 and class 2019 dominated at AAU Nationals; with each National Champion coming from the NYBL – the Oakland Soldiers and the CP3 All-Stars. The domination was not simply in the title game; each of the age groups Sweet 16’s and final 8’s were deep with teams from the NYBL. There is no greater proof of the leagues viability and competitiveness than this fact – NYBL teams are tough, experienced, and by the end of the NYBL season prepared and battled tested to compete at the highest level.

Great teams are made up of great players and the much anticipated NYBL All-Star Weekend will take place September 13th & 14th in Columbus, Ohio pitting the stars of the league against each other in live game action.  No more barber shop arguments! Dream match-ups can be seen live and in person as teammates battle each other for national supremacy, national stars team up, and individual battles between the best of the best take place for all to see.

So what in the world could possibly make this event even bigger and more powerful?

Yes, it’s true!  The best league in the country will put its finest on the floor against the best showcase program in what will be the ultimate “Clash of the Titans”  - think McDonalds All-American Game, think Jordan Brand Classic, think Kentucky Derby Festival for Middle School Hoops.

Without question or debate, when you compare player for player in this magical event there is and has never been a more talented group of players competing at this age group - no camp, no game, no showcase....nothing in the world compares the upcoming NYBL All-Star vs USA National Select Game.

In what will undoubtedly be considered the greatest middle school game of all-time from a talent perspective - historically the most elite players embrace competition and allow it to take them to a different stratosphere.  Given the stakes, the stars, and the venue there is no way you can expect anything less.

Middle School Hoops the preeminent video media company in the youth industry is confirmed to be in attendance and will be taping the games live adding to the hype and intrigue. Regardless of the outcome the mere idea of what it may become inspires excitement and anticipation.
