Springer will play for the Knights under the guidance and tutelage
of former North Carolina standout and NBA player Jeff McGinnis. The Knights who have been ranked by the USA
Today as one of the nation’s top prep schools; recently as high as #3 in the
country has also produced some of the nation’s top college prospects.
With the addition of Jaden Springer whose trajectory falls
in line with the other top standouts from Northside; their local and national
dominance looks to be secured for years to come. Springer who already currently ranks as one
of the nation’s best, plays the game on another level than most. His intensity and effort combined with his
natural skill set which includes a natural ability to make the players around
him better and more productive makes his translation to the next level a certainty
not a question.

Gary Springer |
The son of 6’8 New York legend and superstar Gary Springer
who was a McDonald's All-American and who also played at Iona University; where they still use his highlight tape as a recruiting
tool – a NBA draft pick, his escapades are well documented; but some of the
best Springer games and highlight may have been at Whitney Young Park on 139 th
Street. What does this mean for Northside and rest of the country? It means Springer has the bloodline and the
pedigree – with all the intangibles a coach could ask for and skills that are
being honed daily he wins no matter what uniform he puts on.
P2bball.com would like to congratulate Jaden Springer; whose
acceptance was not solely based on the round-ball – he even challenged himself academically
taking both his regular entrance exam but he one for 9th grade as
well. Also congratulations to the
Springer family who continue to do things the right way, and finally
congratulations to the Northside Christian Academy Knights and Jeff McGinnis for
recognizing not only the wonderful child that Jaden is but also the Superstar potential
he possesses with the basketball.
Nation watch out the Knights are not rebuilding they are
clearly and simply reloading!
Real excited to have Jayden! Also the Head Coach is actually Byron Dinkins (UNC Charlotte) along with Asst. Head Coach Joe Badgette (UNC CHarlotte) & Jeff McInnis (UNC).
