Some scouts have stated it'd help if he were a little bigger, maybe a little more athletic…but frankly it could be a little warmer outside, a little cooler inside, and the French fries at McDonald’s might need a little more or less salt on the fries – the bloodlines look solid as dad stands somewhere in the 6’4/6’6, so long term Grant will be just fine. With good shoulders and long arms, Coach Francis, who loves Huffman laments "Really, there's not a lot not to like. He does just about everything really, really well."
This is crux of Huffman’s analysis – he is the type of player that teams refer to as “the glue guy”; the one so skilled and team oriented that he can step on the floor and be:
1.
The defensive stopper
2.
The 3-point shooter and space creator
3.
Offensive rebounder
4.
Ball-handler
5.
Floor General
We believe that Grant will progress into an elite level shooter and 3-point marksman and ultimately into a high end two and/or combo guard. This is a player every team needs and every coach wants and one that when all is said and done that will put his imprint on the class as one of its premier players.
