Middle School All-American Game Class of 2021 - Thats the Way Players Play All Day Every Day

The most talented players in the class of 2021 from across the country arrived in Washington, DC and treated the capacity crowd to treat of a game that went down to the last few possessions.  The backcourt of Carter Whitt (NC) and Ryan Conway (MD) combined for 43-points and 16-rebounds leading Team Kobe Bryant to a 4-point victory.

Caleb Furst (IN) posed a big threat in the middle and which opened up the perimeter for three double digits scorers Matthew Nelsons (CN), Jalen Bradberry (NY), Juan Reyna (TX) and created lanes for eventual MVP Noah Pebbles (OH) 13-point, 6-rebounds, on 6-12 shooting.

Donnell Harris (FL) was a devastating in the middle blocking shots and grabbing double digit rebounds. Wesley Peterson (DC) chipped in 9-points shooting and amazing 100% for the game 3-for-3 FGs, 1-1 3-pointers, and 2-2 FTs.  6’7 Detwan Montague (MD) was also impressive running the lanes and protecting it at the other end already has nice floor and a high ceiling exactly what you expect when watching the nation’s best compete.

Khalil Brantley (GA) and Shane Dezonie (NJ) both came in with reputations as top floor general dropped off 5-assist and 4-assist respectively.  Brantley also chipped in 5-point showing a very compete floor game while appearing in a few highlights along the way.  Brantley has always been one of the most fun player to watch.

Brayon Freeman (DC) shot 3-6 FGs while showing he one of the most complete scoring combos in the country.

Check out some of the highlights from what turned into one of the best games of the night coming down to the last 25-second before being decided; Noah Pebbles was named MVP for Team Michael Jordan and Ryan Conway for Team Kobe Bryant who sealed the game with an offensive rebound and put back with 23 seconds on the clock to extend a two point lead to 4 - Conway doesn't secure the board Team Jordan comes down with a chance to tie.  The old adage remains true big-time players, make big-time plays, in big-time games and there is no bigger game than the Middle School All-American game!
