Cory Barns is one of the most physically gifted players in
the country; the class of 2020 wing forward is bull strong, long, athletic and insanely
skilled. With the ability to play all 5 positions, Barns excels in transition
where he is a potent finisher. He consistently
knocks down the open jumper from the wing and in and around the lane where he
straight line drives and uses his body well to complete plays through contact. His athleticism and motor allows him to
compete baseline to baseline on every play and he can always be found around
the hoop where he rebounds equally well on both the offensive and defensive
glass. A double - double machine already
Cory contributes in every statistical category each time out; Barns put the
icing on the cake by operating as a lock down defender and has earned the nickname “Little LeBron” in his home state of Delaware.
One of the top players in the class of
2020 already Barns may be the best individual prospect in the state at any age
group including high school. With
continued development Prolific Performance sees him as a Scoring Wing Forward in
the Mark Aguirre mold. Unknown nationally as of right now; Barns will be a household name before its done.
